APSM/IRPG Merger

The executive committees of the APSM (Association of Physical Sciences in Medicine) and the IRPG (Irish Radiotherapy Physics Group) would like to announce that following approval by both memberships, the organisations are to merge. The formal announcement of the merger was made at the joint APSM/IRPG Annual Scientific Meeting on Saturday the 6th of March 2010, subsequent to which both the APSM and IRPG dissolved and a new group the Irish Association of Physicists in Medicine came into existence. The first meeting of the interim executive committee of the new organisation took place on the 25th of March 2010. The merger proposal can be downloaded here
